Position Summary Reporting to the Vice President of Network & Growth Strategy, the Member Retention & Education Specialist supports the organization's member retention, education, and satisfaction objectives by proactively engaging with US Family Health Plan members. This role provides benefit education, individualized counseling, retention outreach, and issue resolution to ensure members are fully informed, appropriately utilizing benefits, and retained within the Plan whenever possible. Through close collaboration with sales, marketing, provider relations, customer service, and third-party partners, the role contributes directly to membership stability, member satisfaction, and organizational enrollment goals. Key Responsibilities Member Education & Engagement Educates new members (and existing members, when appropriate) about Plan benefits, how to access care, and other Plan policies and procedures. Proactively follows up with new members to ensure satisfaction with the enrollment process and proactively addressing questions or issues. Arranges on-going member education initiatives to exceed members' expectations and increase satisfaction with the Plan and responds to inquiries, concerns, and suggestions made by members and providers through all communication forms. Member Retention Counsel members contemplating disenrollment on how that may affect their other health care options with the goal of retaining their membership, if appropriate, and ensures to the extent possible that members make fully-informed decisions. Proactively contacts at-risk members and “Grandfathered” members who are turning age 65 to educate them on using USFHP when Medicare-eligible and retain their membership. Provides assistance to members moving out of the area by educating them about the health care options available to them, and assisting them in porting their USFHP enrollment to another US Family Healthy Plan provider or to TRICARE Prime. Member Advocacy & Benefit Coordination Acts as a liaison between members and the third-party administrator; provides members with one-on-one benefit counseling; and serves as point of contact for individual counseling, assistance, and information regarding other insurances. Identifies and alerts management to trends or other broad issues which might lead to member dissatisfaction and assists with data collection of enrollment leads and other data as needed to support sales and marketing initiatives. Sales, Marketing & Outreach Support Assists sales team with inbound phone sales inquiries to enroll prospects, and assists with producing content for the quarterly member newsletter and other member communications. Participates in and assists with in-person and virtual member information sessions and other sales and marketing events such as Yellow Ribbon Ceremonies. Collaborates with sales marketing, and communications teams to identify new education opportunities and strategies for expanding depth and breadth of market- and customer-facing education. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree preferred, with 1-3 years of marketing, customer service, or sales experience Experience in local health care setting and familiarity with military environment required Skills & Competencies Excellent interpersonal, sales, and phone skills required. The Clinical Workforce Educator (Behavioral Health) is responsible for providing support, guidance, and accountability to clinical staff as they support our patients as they work towards their health goals. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team, delivering evidence-based health coaching and patient support, and facilitating wellness programs. The coach plays a vital role in improving the quality of patient care through the efficient use of resources and enhancing outcomes. Clinical Workforce Educator will support the growth and capacity development of staff by providing coaching, training, and professional development to staff in the Casa Esperanza community. The foundation of the Clinical Workforce Educator's work will be based on Casa's vision, trauma-informed practices, responsive treatment, and curricular approaches that align with the Agency's mission, vision, and values. This person will collaborate and create ongoing, embedded professional development focusing on the implementation of inclusive, evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on group interventions and expressive therapies. We are seeking someone who believes in the potential and value of each staff member whom they support and are dedicated to their own ongoing professional growth and development. This person will hold the following responsibilities: Collaborate with Hiring Managers to support their work in setting and meeting competency-based training goals related to, evidence-based practice, person centered care planning, cultural humility, trauma informed care, integrated care, and health and safety. What you'll do Responsibilities of the Educator include: Collaborate with the Chief Clinical Officer and Clinical Operations team to ensure quality standards are implemented (CARF, BSAS, MassHealth) Working with individual managers and Program Directors to set achievable goals that support development and consistent application of best practices Provide hands-on, one to one, and small group coaching, training and support in the milieu Provide in-person training and coaching on de-escalation and crisis response using trauma informed safety protocols Support all program sites with clinical skill and curriculum implementation Work in collaboration and across departments to ensure integrated care quality standards are implemented for patients in treatment Utilize coaching protocols to structure and document work with each staff, including the provision of regular feedback and differentiated coaching strategies Peer Leadership Work with project staff to create a trauma-informed and recovery-oriented Peer Leadership Training Academy, including implementation of the curriculum, development of client manuals and workbooks, and leadership training plans. Develop training plans for peer leaders to deliver peer-facilitated educational groups and organize pro-social activities. Staff Training Work with Program Director to develop, and implement curriculum content, training materials, and teaching aids that are aligned with relevant Treatment Improvement Protocols.
