This role is an ongoing contract, and assignments are expected to be a few days to a week, typically on weekdays. Travel may be required on the weekends. You will be required to work a minimum of two assignments per month. Each assignment is 3 to 5 days.

Responsibilities of the Nurse Educator:

· Provide post-sales end-user education classes/in-services.
· Travel and scheduling requirements include:
o Maintain 4-5 consecutive days of availability Monday through Friday, at least twice per month and can travel on Sundays, late Friday evenings, or Saturday mornings.
o Readiness and willingness to work all shifts.
o Ability to travel for several consecutive overnights across a 10-15 state territory.
o Must live within 1 hour of a major US airport for air travel needs (including willingness to fly regional jets) and have access to reliable transportation for drivable assignments 4-5 hours from home.
Qualifications of the Nurse Educator:
· Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in state of residence
· Bachelor's Degree preferred but not necessary.
· Must reside within United States (PST, MST, CST)
· Minimum of three to five years of critical care experience (ICU, CCU, PICU, NICU, ED, etc.) with in-depth knowledge of the critical care environment and clinical applications (interpreting cardiac rhythms and ST-segments, bedside cardiac monitoring devices and central station monitoring, invasive lines and pressure monitoring; including cardiac output, wedge pressures, etc.).
· High level of initiative, accountability, and professionalism. This includes a customer service attitude which exceeds customer expectations and brings value for our client's end-users!
· Exceptional communication, presentation/training, interpersonal relationship, and critical thinking skills
· Comfortable with Windows, MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), and networks.

Under the direction of the Center Support Specialist and Education Manager, manages the Head Start education services in the center. Conduct, aggregate, and analyze the data from four assessments each season. Present assessment results at parent meetings.

Ensure each child's paper and electronic files are accurate, complete, and up to date. Attend case reviews as needed.
Participate with the center team in coordinating child transitions.
Ensure teachers complete the Health and Safety checklist daily.
Manage all classroom and education resource inventories.
Maintain an ongoing flow of information between teaching staff and support staff, to include facilitating teacher meetings and attending center and agency meetings as required.
Ensure home visits and parent/teacher conferences occur as per Head Start performance standards.

Job Description
The Coordinator of Interprofessional Education (IPE) is responsible for the M.D. Program Interprofessional Education Program, including the IPE scholarly concentration, and IPE service learning. The Director is also responsible for the Area Health Education Center (AHEC) IPE Scholar program, and the related activities within the three AHEC locations.
The Coordinator of IPE is responsible for overseeing, developing, implementing and evaluating the Interprofessional Education program for the M.D. Program and ensures compliance with all applicable accreditation standards. The position also oversees the development and implementation of the overall IPE goals, objectives, learning outcomes and assessments for the core M.D. program curriculum. As the leader of the IPE Scholarly Concentration, the Coordinator designs and implements the program, and ensures students are meeting stated goals. To support the service learning, leadership responsibility spans experiences across all four years ensuring students meet the goals of the service learning program commensurate with up to date accreditation standards; that assessment and evaluation data on the service learning program is collected, analyzed, presented at curriculum committees, and used to continuously improve the program commensurate with up to date accreditation standards. The Coordinator is also responsible for direction and coordination of the AHEC IPE Scholar Program. This position develops, integrates, monitors and evaluates the activities of the Interprofessional Education program for the AHEC Scholars Program with the School of Medicine and serves as the primary contact for coordination with additional UNR and NSHE health profession training programs. This position works with outside education Institutions in the development of IPE Scholars. In addition, this position directs the IPE activities of the three AHEC centers to support personnel, online learning portal and in-person training for Centers and AHEC Scholars.

Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is seeking a community-centered Extension Education Project Coordinator in Hawthorne, NV to support senior programming, Tribal food production efforts, and youth agricultural education.
In this part-time role (80% FTE), you will implement the Veggies for Seniors program, teach the Too Good for Drugs curriculum at Hawthorne Junior High and Schurz Elementary, and support youth activities within the Walker River FRTEP (Federally Recognized Tribal Extension Program). You will also assist with Tribal hoop house and food production projects, helping strengthen local food systems, promote health and wellness, and expand hands-on agricultural learning for seniors, youth, and families.
This position offers an opportunity to work closely with Tribal communities, elders, youth, and local partners to deliver culturally responsive, research-based programming that enhances community health, agricultural knowledge, and food sovereignty.
Key Responsibilities

Nature and Scope
This position acts as a role model, resource and coach to the Respiratory Staff, physicians and ancillary departments. "Respiratory Care" means the treatment, management, diagnostic testing, control, and care of persons with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system. (NRS 630.023)
The Respiratory Specialist is accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation of care, and evaluation of Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients and families. A thorough patient assessment by respiratory therapists is the cornerstone for the effective implementation of protocols. Respiratory therapists can initiate or modify a patient's plan of care following a predetermined and structured set of orders under the protocol placed by a provider. Protocols include instructions or interventions in which the respiratory therapist is empowered to initiate, refine, transition, discontinue, and restart therapy as the patient's medical condition dictates. The Respiratory Therapist is accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation of care, and evaluation of Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric patients and families.
Respiratory Specialists are responsible for the proper documentation of all patient records and department logs. In addition, they are responsible for keeping abreast of technological advances in applicable areas and are well versed in appropriate clinical applications. Continuous comprehensive mental effort is required to provide optimal safe patient care and the same mental effort is required when interacting with internal and external contacts, exercising judgments, and making decisions.
Respiratory Specialists are responsible for ensuring a positive patient experience is achieved. This is accomplished through initially making a connection, introducing yourself, explaining the duration of the work being performed, explaining the procedure / task, and thanking the patient when complete (CIDET). Additionally, Respiratory Specialists are responsible for service recovery when the patient experience does not go well. This is accomplished by listening with empathy to the concern, apologizing for the experience, solving the problem if able and escalating to leadership if not able, and thanking the patient for providing us with an opportunity to improve their experience (LAST).
Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist (NPS): primarily work with high-risk newborn/pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Nursery and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Respiratory Specialist may be required to interact with staff in outlying hospitals either as a member of the maternal child health transport team or as a regional referral center information source. The Respiratory Care Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist is responsible for helping with transport coverage to include last minute scheduling to ensure transport coverage at all times. This position holds a board certification in Neonatal / Pediatric Specialist from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Adult Critical Care Specialists (ACCS): primarily work with high risk adult patients in the Adult Intensive Care Units, Shock/Trauma Resuscitation Rooms and Emergency Departments. This position holds a board certification in Adult Critical Care from the NBRC.
Pulmonary Rehab Specialist: are accountable and responsible for the performance of pulmonary rehabilitation. They work in a broad program that helps improve the well-being of people who have chronic (ongoing) breathing problems. At pulmonary rehabilitation the Pulmonary Rehab Specialist will work with a large interdisciplinary team to help improve the physical condition of patients through exercise, education, and support. This position holds Pulmonary Rehab Program Certification through The American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR).
Pulmonary Function Test Specialists (PFT): are accountable and responsible for the performance of pulmonary function examinations. The Pulmonary Function Test Specialists are required to function as a professional resource person to pulmonary physicians, physicians in training, other medical staff, management, and nursing, regarding the performance, documentation, and interpretation of pulmonary function testing. Clinical Specialists: function in specialty roles throughout the network. COPD / Asthma Education Specialist: provide comprehensive education to patients diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and/or Asthma. They utilize written education materials along with educational aides such as handouts, lung models, and videos as deemed appropriate. When applicable they provide referrals for pulmonary rehabilitation and pulmonary function testing. They act as a liaison to physicians and discharge planners to ensure proper length of stay, adequate education and safe discharge. The University of Nevada, Reno Extension is seeking a passionate and community-focused Extension Education Project Coordinator to support agriculture and youth development programming on the Duck Valley Reservation.
In this unique role, you'll work closely with Tribal youth and families, local schools, producers, and community partners to build programs that inspire agricultural learning, leadership, and hands-on experience. From school gardens to 4-H projects and agricultural field days, your efforts will strengthen youth engagement and promote sustainable agricultural practices that honor local traditions and community needs.
This position plays a key role in bridging cultural and educational opportunities-supporting the next generation of Nevada's agricultural leaders through inclusive, community-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs that integrate agriculture, STEM, and youth development for Tribal communities.
Collaborate with faculty, Tribal leaders, schools, and local producers to create engaging learning experiences such as workshops, 4-H projects, and on-farm demonstrations.
Coordinate grant-funded projects focused on agricultural and youth development, including data tracking, program evaluation, and reporting.
Foster partnerships that strengthen community engagement and agricultural literacy across diverse audiences.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; OR a Master's degree and one year of related experience. Related experience: Experience in project coordination, agricultural education, youth programming, community outreach or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Tribal and/or diverse audiences, including rural communities.
Experience with 4-H, FFA, or other youth leadership programs.
Knowledge of Nevada agriculture, community-based education, or Extension programs.
Experience with grant writing, budget oversight, and program evaluation.
Licensure
A valid Class “C” driver's license or higher operator's license within 30 days of appointment.
Schedule and Travel
40 hours per week with a variable work schedule, including some nights and/or weekends, based on programming needs.
