ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
As an Education Specialist, you will support students with diverse learning needs in a full inclusion setting. You will collaborate closely and co-teach with core content teachers to ensure that course work is accessible for students, develop small group lessons to help build students foundational skills, track student progress, and collaborate on students' IEP teams.

Uphold PBIS System including participating in student celebrations/awards, entering daily DeansList data, and consistent and frequent communication with families.
Actively supervise students during transitions such as arrival, homeroom, passing periods, lunch, and dismissal.
Attend and participate in school-wide events including Back to School Night, Parent/Teacher conferences, End of the Year events, Grade Level Meetings, Department Meetings, Summer Professional Development, weekly Professional Development during the school year, and other assigned meetings.

Utilize Educational Technology platforms for curriculum development and planning.

As a K-8 Science Education Specialist - NGSS, your responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
Leading the design, development, and curation of science-related activities, lessons, datasets, and other instructional resources that support Next Generation Science Standards, taking into account learning strategies and best practices to address diverse abilities and backgrounds.
Working closely with content, production, and assessment specialists on our team to create high quality, meaningful, inquiry-based tasks, activities, lessons, and projects that are aligned with NGSS.
Creating or finding open-source teaching resources and adapt them for use by participating teachers, grades 2 through 8. Engaging meaningfully with our community of science educators to successfully incorporate Tuva and NGSS-aligned materials into their instructional practice.
Initiating and fostering partnerships with academic institutions, research organizations, museums, and other science education and community groups to help educators teach and students learn foundational data literacy concepts and skills using Tuva.
About You:
Have a BS, MS, PhD, or Ed.M in Science Education or a graduate degree in a science field with equivalent experience in education training.
Have a strong background in Life Science, Physical Science, or Earth Science content.
Are familiar with the Next Generation Science Standards and research-based best teaching practices.
Have 3-5 years of successful classroom experience teaching science and/or mathematics at the elementary or middle school level.
Demonstrate ability to create cross-disciplinary curriculum or instructional activities that integrate concepts and skills from a variety of subject areas and topics.
Have a strong understanding and knowledge of foundational statistics and data analysis skills and concepts.

Respiratory Support Technician
This position provides direct and indirect patient care and services in the home, office, and hospital environment in accordance with all governmental, accrediting, and organizational policies and procedures. Job Duties:

* Identifies need for Pulse Ox testing to recertify or qualify O2 services per insurance regulations.
