Demonstrates the ability to clearly communicate, collaborate, and work effectively with others in a team environment. Ability and willingness to cross-train throughout home department. Ability to safety lift and carry up to forty (40) pounds. Ability to periodically bend, stoop, and squat to perform tasks. Supports and promotes a Safe working environment/habit through adherence to STERIS established Safety procedures and guidelines. The MMC Assembler is responsible for maintaining the production of medical case cart products to meet customer requirements. What You'll do as a MMC Assembler * Ability to assemble based on knowledge of the functions of major component parts and sub-assemblies within an assigned area. * Use and understand torque wrenches and test equipment, and troubleshoot. * Maintain published productivity standards on moderately challenging assemblies by utilizing a traveler, blueprint and standard work. * Maintain high quality standards (meet the departments published quality rating). * Maintain safe work areas and practice safe work habits. * Apply 5S tools to include the T-card system.
