What Does An Efficiency Analyst Do At Exelon Corporation

* The following duties and accountabilities are those typically performed by the business analyst job family in Energy Delivery.
* The specific duties, accountabilities and percentage of time may vary depending on the department and/or functional area needs.
* If appropriate, a specific departmental position description may by developed and kept by the departmental manager with a specific list of duties and accountabilities for this position.
* Support and manage the net metering application and enrollment process as it aligns with the legislative requirements.
* This includes corresponding and interacting with internal and external departments and customers to insure customer accounts are appropriately assigned to net metering.
* Ensure that the Interconnection Process has begun upon receiving a net metering application.
* Monitor, interface and coordinate activities with external departments to ensure proper meter exchanges, submit billing requests and completion of the enrollment process.
* Correspond with customers to ensure that required forms and agreements are completed and returned by the customer.
* Track, maintain, analyze and provide current information on the operations business scorecard for monthly reporting to the Department of Energy.
* Coordinate activities with Hourly Pricing vendor and customers to ensure proper enrollment.
* Perform daily activities and functions to support of the On-bill financing program.
* This will include a daily review and evaluation of a daily report of participating customer accounts, corresponding with the vendor and could involve some invoice processing.
* Provide program management / support to the Emerging Technologies Program such as project/pilot management.
* Provide analytical and operational support to potential emerging Energy Efficiency programs.
* POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Preferred:Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering AND 2
* years related business experience, or in lieu of Bachelors degree, a minimum of 6
* years relevant business experience is required.
* General understanding of applicable standards, methods, processes and practices, business fundamentals, and performance metrics in the specific functional area supported by this position (e. g. , asset management, electric or gas operations, customer service, transmission and substation, distribution system operations, regulatory and external affairs, transmission operations and planning).
* General proficiency in standard software applications (e. g. , Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Project), specialized business technologies and applications (e. g. , Connect-the
* Grid software) to retrieve and analyze data in support of business needs.
* Ability to provide general analysis and apply managerial accounting concepts, customer intelligence gathering, analytical and statistical problem solving, financial and accounting.
* Customer driven with good oral and written communications skills and general analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
* Ability to develop detailed knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of energy efficiency and distributed energy generation.
* Ability to analyze organizational data and problems, interpret and recommend alternative courses of action, and implement intervention strategies to attain performance targets.
* POSITION SCOPEThis is an individual contributor position that works under general supervision and frequently performs non-routine work.
* This position is expected to resolve most questions and problems through interaction with internal and/or external stakeholders, executives, directors, managers, and staff across the organization, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
