Job Purpose
The eGroup CX practice is of high strategic importance to our organization, and the CSM role is an integral part of this strategy. In this role, you will lead the design and integration of platform toolchains that support modern cloud-native operations and software development practices. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and operations teams to keep our cloud services easy to consume, ultimately elevating the customer and developer experience.
As a Technical Architect, you will:
* Design, implement, and optimize the end-to-end toolchain (including CI/CD pipelines, data-movement processes, observability tooling, and SDKs) that powers development, deployment, and operation of SAS solutions in Azure and AWS.
* Lead initiatives to simplify onboarding, streamline deployments, and enhance self-service capabilities for internal and external users.
* Build resilient frameworks that enable rapid, safe releases and real-time monitoring, ensuring robust performance and quick recovery from failures.
* Work with product, engineering, and operations to align platform capabilities with customer and market needs, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
* Produce clear architectural diagrams, playbooks, and technical documentation to support onboarding, troubleshooting, and operational excellence.
* Promote cost optimization, security best practices, and operational automation throughout the toolchain lifecycle.
* Continuously evaluate emerging cloud and DevOps technologies, integrating best-of-breed solutions into our platform to maintain a leading edge.
* Be encouraged to participate in open-source projects on behalf of SAS.

Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of experience in technical architecture, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
* Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
* Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
* Experience designing and managing developer/operator toolchains, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability platforms.
* Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud environments.
* Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices-based applications.
* Proficiency in scripting, automation, and SDK/API development.
* Demonstrated ability to produce technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and solution design documents.
* Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

* Demonstrated leader in architecture topics (publishes articles, leads demand generation activities, and speaks at technical tracks for conferences and events

The Customer Intelligence team is looking for a Head of Pre-Sales Support, Customer Intelligence - North America. You will be responsible for leading a team of Pre-Sales resources in North America with influence on the broader Americas region.
