John Ehrenkranz is the Chief Investment Officer of Ehrenkranz Partners, and joined the firm in 2004. Previously, John was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, the independent private equity investment group of Morgan Stanley. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Capital Partners in 1996, John was in Morgan Stanley’s Mergers & Acquisitions Department. He received his Bachelor Degree from Brown University and his Masters of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. John serves as Treasurer of the Board of New York Cares, a member of the Board of the New York Genome Center, a member of Brown University’s President’s Leadership Council, and a member of the Board of Advisors at the Hospital for Special Surgery.

I am a financial operations and technology executive that has held positions, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Ehrenkranz Partners L.P., a registered investment advisor in New York City, as well as co-founder and partner of an entrepreneurial firm, Picasso Software, based in Texas and New York. I am recognized by stakeholders as an idea partner and an effective troubleshooter that develops and implements strategies that differentiate the client solution while managing and sustaining change, enhancing efficiency, and impacting profit.
