Our research found that New Mexico is the best state for EHS Managers, while District of Columbia and New Mexico are ranked highest in terms of median salary.

New Mexico has a median salary of $123,551 and District of Columbia has the highest median salary among all 50 states for EHS Managers.

To do that, we looked at the most recent data we have available for the following criteria -- average annual wages, and availability of jobs for EHS Managers.

We found that New Mexico is the best state for EHS Manager jobs, whereas South Dakota is the worst.
