This position will manage the Safety and EHS systems with all joint venture locations, to prevent Fatal and Serious Incidents and Major Environmental incidents. This position will work closely with the leadership team to ensure joint venture locations are aligned with the Company‘s Safety/Risk/EHS protocols. The role of JV EHS Manager is a critical function which will serve as the liaison between Company leadership, Safety and EHS teams and the Company joint ventures.
Ensure Alcoa-operated and non-operated joint venture operations have increased controls and are following Company standards in relation to Safety/Risk/EHS. Decision-making on how the joint ventures must become and remain compliant in these key areas and will have authority to direct the joint ventures on changes that must be made.
