Temple Burn Center admits approximately 300 acute burns annually and treats >1600 outpatients in the burn clinic. The burn unit is a 10-bed freestanding ICU with an attached procedure room and burn-competent nurses, therapists, nutritionists, and psychologists. The burn center provides a full continuum of burn care, from acute resuscitation and surgical management, laser therapy, and scar reconstruction to outpatient management, rehabilitation, and survivor support. Patients treated at Temple receive the highest-quality care in a compassionate, patient-centered environment, provided by dedicated staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
* M.D. or D.O.
* Board certification in General or Plastics Surgery and fellowship training and/or significant clinical experience in Burn Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
* Surgical Critical Care fellowship preferred.
* Eligibility for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
* Evidence of strong leadership ability and administrative experience in an academic or large tertiary care setting
