Rehabilitation (Rehab) Registered Nurse (RN) - Nationwide Contracts Assignment Type: Travel Contract / Local Contract
ARMStaffing is seeking dedicated and patient-focused Rehabilitation (Rehab) Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel and local contracts across the U.S. If you're passionate about helping patients regain independence and improve quality of life after illness or injury, we're ready to connect you with your next rewarding assignment.
Job Description:
As a Rehab RN, you'll care for patients recovering from surgery, stroke, trauma, or other medical conditions that impact mobility and daily function. You'll work alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapists to help patients meet recovery goals and transition to greater independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
Monitor patient progress and assist with daily mobility and therapy routines
Administer medications and manage wound care, catheters, and IVs
Educate patients and families on home care and recovery planning
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized rehab plans
Document care and communicate effectively across shifts
Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Rehab or Med Surg nursing experience
Strong clinical skills and patient motivation techniques
Excellent communication and documentation skills

This Registered Nurse MUST have a minimum of 1 year of RN experience (orientation/training does not count toward the 1 years experience) in the Operating Room to be considered for this position.
Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.
