Team work was something you could count on to get you through the shifts
leadership and management have destroyed all the teamwork. Burnout is high and most of the experienced nurses have left D/T low pay , micromanaging and poor leadership. Directors have criminal records and nothing is done. poor morale and discrimination
proud to be magnet hospital but now they don't care about shared governance
leadership is something that is earned through hard work and letting the nurses know they can count on you. Being a micromanager is not how to gain the trust of your employees. Lead by example, stop discriminating and get rid of your directors and start new before you lose Magnet status
every Caucasian case manager over 45 was fired. They don't promote women over 45 because they don't think they'll be around long enough to make it worth their while
