I am the Chief Executive Officer of BDO USA, LLP, and Chair of the Global Board of Directors of BDO International, Ltd., a leading global accounting and advisory organization. An American transplant, I had early aspirations of becoming a South African Air Force pilot. When those plans were derailed by my first pair of eyeglasses, I chased my next passion-helping businesses, and the people behind them, thrive everyday-and embarked on a lifelong career in professional services. The last and best two decades have been with BDO. I was elected CEO in 2012. I started my career providing accounting services for nonprofit organizations. To this day, I believe that success in business is defined first and foremost by purpose. We have clients in every industry who are changing the world, in small, large, and significant ways. Joel Aron Cooperman is a Chief Executive Officer at Citrin Cooperman and Managing Member at Citrin Cooperman Wealth Mgmt LP.

Chris has been re-elected to serve another term as chairman and chief executive officer of Moss Adams LLP until June 30, 2022. Prior to his current role, Chris joined the Orange County, California, office of Moss Adams in 1986. In 1991 he was admitted to the partnership, and in 1997 he became the managing partner of the Orange County practice office. In 2004, he moved to the firm’s National office in Seattle, Washington, and assumed the role of president and chief operating officer for a five-year term. He was reappointed to a second term in 2009. As chairman and chief executive officer, Chris is responsible for establishing and promoting the firm’s strategic plan, including maintaining firm-wide commitment to the highest level of professional practice. Chris is committed to the accounting profession and a number of charitable organizations. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In May 2019, Chris completed his three-year term serving on the AICPA’s Board of Directors. Chris has also served on the AICPA Council as well as the Council's Nominations Committee. He is currently serving a three-year term on Praxity’s Management Board and Governing Council.

Louis C. Grassi is the Chief Executive Officer and driving force behind the firm's growth. He began his career in 1977 and has extensive experience in tax, accounting and consulting. Under Lou’s guidance, Grassi has been ranked as one of the Top 25 Best Managed Firms in the country and Top 5 in the Northeast for the past five years. A nationally recognized expert, Lou is frequently called upon as a lecturer and business advisor for companies and industry trade organizations. He has authored numerous local and national articles, also serving as a contributing editor to the Corporate Controller's Manual and was the Editor of the Journal of Construction Accounting & Taxation. Lou is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University teaching a graduate level course in finance and accounting for construction contractors. Lou has received numerous professional awards and accolades. He has served as an executive board officer for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and he is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). A member of the Young Presidents Organization, he appears in both the national and international Who's Who Directory of Finance, and he was a member of the Editorial advisory board of CPA Managing Partner Report, The CPA Journal, and other industry publications. Lou currently serves on the board of Moore Stephens North America, part of an international association of over 360 independent accounting and consulting firms. Lou also holds board positions with several civic and philanthropic organizations. He is a member of the Nassau County Audit Advisory Committee, as well as a former member of the Nassau County Comptroller's transition team and past chairman of a large not-for-profit human services agency. In addition, Lou serves on the Board of Flushing Financial Corp, BRT Realty, and a mutual insurance company and he is on the Board of Trustees of The New York Institute of Technology.
