Leading investigations of fraud, contraband, criminal activity, threats to our nation, and/or illegal operations to determine sources and patterns while serving as a state, federal, or military law enforcement official. Apprehending violators of state, federal, or immigration laws by utilizing various forms of complex technology that include surveillance, detection, situation awareness systems, and/or communications equipment. The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Make arrests and exercise sound judgment in the use of firearms; deal effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters; analyze information rapidly and make prompt decisions; or develop and maintain contact with a network of informants.     Essential Duties and Responsibilities After completing training: * Consult with students in writing basics during one-on-one sessions. * Create documents of various forms for WC workshops and presentations. * Assist in workshops and other presentation as needed. * Assist director in operation of the Writing Center as needed. * Perform other duties as required by the Director of the Writing Center. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities * Assist students in reaching proficiency in writing skills by demonstrationg various skills. * Provide students with written samples of exceptional written material for them to study. * Maintain records of student achievement in mastery of writing skills. * Performs secretarial and clerical duties such as filing, typing, photo copying, word processing, mailing, maintaining records, in accordance with established policies and procedures. * Performs receptionists duties including answering the telephone and taking messages, and greeting office visitors. * Run campus errands.
