Our Medical Assistants greet customers, consult with them on the services they need, collect and process samples, and ensure timely delivery of results-all while providing a comfortable, personalized experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and ensuring the overall smooth operation of the facility. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience and a strong interest in learning about our services in order to guide customers toward informed health decisions. This position will float between our Flower Mound, Southlake, N Ft Worth, Cedar Hill and Euless locations as needed. Provide patient care management to an assigned clinic. The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) works under the clinical direction of the physician or nurse and reports to the Director of Nursing, Outpatient Physician Specialty Clinic. Qualifications Work Experience None required. License/Registration/Certification National Medical Assistant certification must be obtained within one (1) year of employment. BLS Education and Training High school graduate or equivalent. Graduation from an approved certified program for Medical Assistants. Skills Possess effective oral and written communication. Possess effective interpersonal relationship skills; ability to interact with many different personalities. Possess a working knowledge of office and medical equipment. Knowledge of principles and application of medical ethics; ensures HIPAA compliance. Knowledge of medical terminology and a working knowledge of ancillary services. Ability to read and comprehend English at a level necessary to follow written/oral instructions and safety precautions. Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot when situations arise.
