Provide guidance on safety practices, tool usage, and GM-specific systems.
Assist the Service Manager in identifying training needs and recommending development plans.
Participate in onboarding and training for new technicians.
Quality Control & Safety
Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, shop policies, and environmental standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
Review completed repairs for accuracy, safety, and compliance with factory specifications.
Support warranty processes by ensuring proper documentation, parts retention, and repair documentation accuracy.
Communication & Customer Support
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management regarding repair timelines, technical findings, and necessary resources.
Occasionally speak with customers about complex repairs when requested by the Service Manager.
Promote a positive, supportive, and teamwork-focused shop culture.
Qualifications
12+ years of experience as an automotive technician; GM experience strongly preferred.
ASE certifications and/or GM factory training highly desirable.
Strong diagnostic background with proficiency in electrical, drivability, and advanced repair procedures.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
