Assists maintenance personnel with problems and ensures timely completion of work; works with power tools in a safe manner.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a well experienced and versatile Mechanic to join our shop-based team in Midland. This position offers an opportunity to work with a close-knit team that values quality workmanship and reliability. Due to the wide range of services we provide, this position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your technical experience and gain exposure to new industries.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, weekends as needed; 12-hour daytime shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Consult directly with customers to identify service needs, discuss equipment issues as applicable, and establish service and/or repair priorities.
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic, and repair work on a wide range of equipment, heavy-, and light-duty vehicles.
Inspect and test vehicles or equipment following repairs to ensure proper performance and compliance with safety requirements.
Execute basic welding and fabrication tasks as needed to support repairs or custom equipment modifications.
Collaborate with team members and provide clear status updates to supervisors and clients regarding repair needs and timelines.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by delivering responsive, reliable, and solutions-driven service.
Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and repair documentation.
Assist with parts identification, ordering, and inventory coordination to support preventative maintenance and repair operations.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of maintenance experience required
Valid driver's license; clean driving record required.
Must possess your own tools for basic maintenance and tool storage (secure locking toolbox).
Preferred Qualifications:
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong customer service orientation.
Basic to comprehensive knowledge of chassis maintenance, braking systems, hydraulic systems, suspension systems, Class A tractor trailers, gas and diesel engines, basic welding and fabrication.
Compensation & Benefits:
$25.00-$32.00 hr. DOE

Key Responsibilities
Perform mobile maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, batteries, filters, brakes, recalls, and minor repairs
Operate a company-provided, fully stocked mobile service van
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers on-site
Accurately document work performed and recommendations in the RO system
Coordinate schedules with the service department to ensure timely service

Qualifications
3+ years of automotive technician experience preferred

Assembling all types of pump equipment to customer, OEM and industry standard specifications
Disassembling equipment to gain access remove, clean and inspect components
Inspecting & recording component measurements using instruments, tools and gages and providing inspection report
Investigating and determining root cause failure
Determining proper materials for repairs as per BOM
Contouring impellers and pump casings to meet hydraulic requirements
Setting and operating dynamic balancing equipment
