Key Responsibilities:
Consistent with plans to substantially develop and grow the Integrated Solutions portfolio, the company is now seeking to recruit a Vice President, Business Development for the Division. This represents an excellent opportunity for a strategically-minded and results-oriented business development leader to drive the profitable growth of the portfolio over the next several years.
Reporting to the SVP/GM Integrated Solutions, the VP Business Development will be responsible for all aspects of business development within the IS Division. He/she will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a compelling and differentiated growth strategy and business plan for the Division across its various Business Areas and product lines.
The VP Business Development must have a strong external and marketplace orientation, being highly comfortable building and managing relationships with customers, partners, and major OEMs. The successful candidate must be as comfortable externally as he/she is internally dealing with staff.

Establish relationships and trust with current and potential industry and government customers with the goals of securing and expanding business sales.
Identify, prioritize, pursue, and realize organic and inorganic growth opportunities for the IS Division, including potential acquisitions and joint ventures.
Partner with Washington colleagues to establish personal and professional relationships with the Army, Air Force and USMC service staffs., as well as Department of Defense procurement personnel and Congressional budget planning staff
Establish and maintain similar relationships with intracompany counterparts, including affiliate companies/partners
Proactively and continuously assess company capabilities (current and emerging) against customer requirements.
Assess and make recommendations for company to partner with other internal sites where opportunities exist for new business.
Build, Lead and supervise staff of Business Development professionals.
Train and improve overall business team in Opportunity qualification and capture
Represent Elbit America to and effectively communicate and liaise with customers, suppliers, partners, employees, government authorities, and other key stakeholders.

* Initiate, evaluate, and disposition Condition Reports as required.
* Provide technical input and written documents supporting the design, development, training, performance, and delivery of technical products and services to customers that require integration of team efforts across multifunctional groups. Effectively define, manage, and drive projects to successful completion to meet customer needs.
* Support special requests from site as part of site engineering support. Examples include self assessments, equipment reliability support, outage emergent issue support, calculation reviews, etc.
