The Sr Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic, tactical and operational activities to achieve a value-added supply chain responsive to program requirements. Activities include supply and demand management of purchased components, planning, sourcing, procurement and collaboration with suppliers and internal customers to drive out unnecessary costs and inefficiencies. The manager facilitates the management of relationships with major suppliers for the acquisition of quality-assured commodities and works closely with the Operations team. The manager will implement appropriate sourcing strategies to control the company's purchased material costs and to ensure an adequate source of supply will be provided while managing and optimizing supplier performance, including continuous improvement, innovations, obsolescence and reduction in total cost of ownership.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and manage the procurement of all materials, equipment and services necessary for repair, overhaul and manufacturing and ensure efficient movement of materials required for meeting schedules of assigned programs
Reviews supplier proposals for price, delivery time and quality and then selects the supplier
Monitors cost, schedule and performance factors of suppliers and programs to ensure adherence to budgets and customer requirements
Research and develop sources of supply for required commodities
Evaluates material shortages and determines appropriate inventory levels
Directs material procurement and program scheduling activities using a computerized ERP System
Monitors and assures efficient flow of inbound customer repairable being input for work, efficient receipt of purchased material, inventory management, and shipment of product
Coordinate with Account Managers, Contracts, and Operations to determine material lay-in requirements for long-term projects; facilitate management of max/min of stock inventory to assure adequate supply with minimal excess and appropriate inventory turns, assure timely processing of non-stock requirements to support DOT of repair service orders
React to Operation's schedules to help maintain on-time deliveries to our customers as well as smoothing of material receipt schedules to maintain production flow throughout the Factory
Maintain control of all service and production ordering activities for all company programs. This includes reviewing, in conjunction with Account Management, Contracts, Finance and Operations, and establishing optimum inventories and stock order recommendations for executive review and approval
Manage the sourcing of material to support Production Planning process assuring timely flow of production materials to Manufacturing
Interface with all cognizant departments relative to resolving various material problems and issues which negatively impact production
Assist Financial Administration in maintaining material costs traceability for various contracts and projects through the management of work order numbers, releases, and material transfer related data
Assist the management team in meeting EAC's when applicable and support Program Managers/Operations with their material reporting requirements
Engage with suppliers to negotiate favorable costs and improve margins
Ensure projects and tasks are completed in accordance with the applicable AS9100 and other required Quality Standards
Prepare and monitor labor and expense budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
Maintain liaison with other departments, Team Leaders and Program Managers, to ensure effective and coordinated communication regarding material costs, schedules and issues affecting budget and customer requirements
Select, train, and develop subordinates
Assign work for the most efficient utilization of personnel, reviewing their activities to ensure quality performance
Oversee all subordinate tasks including Government Property and Small Business
Make appropriate promotion and salary recommendations or terminations
Manage the material quoting process, ensuring fair and accurate material cost roll ups
Review teams' interaction with internal customers, ensuring timely and accurate responses and a proactive attitude toward issue resolution
Develop long range material plan to develop an annual material forecast
Review Operations Schedules to maintain on-time deliveries to our customers as well as smoothing of schedules to maintain production flow throughout the Factory
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration with 8-10 years of experience, or an MBA with 6-8 years related experience
Demonstrated experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Purchasing, Production Control, Inventory Control, Just-In Time Production, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification a plus

The Sourcing Specialist will work with the client, HiArc's Program Manager, our procurement team, and the project's engineering, scientific, QA and QC teams to lead the selection of vendors that supply materials and/or items to HiArc for the client's medical device being manufactured at HiArc. The Sourcing Specialist will be the person responsible for the project to establish sourcing criteria for vendor selection. These criteria will be established based on the combined stakeholder needs of HiArc's Operations. the client's technical team, HiArc's QA/QC and the client's QA team. If the vendor selection criteria conflict between stakeholders, then the Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the conflict is resolved so that vendors can be selected for the project in the timeframe needed to meet the project's schedule. The Sourcing Specialist will be the voice of the supplier when project schedules are established, reviewed and revised. Once all sourcing criteria are established, the Sourcing Specialist will identify vendor candidates and evaluate their attributes against the project's sourcing criteria and drive the project's selection of primary and secondary vendors. The Sourcing Specialist will provide information to HiArc Operations and QA to ensure the selected vendors can be placed on HiArc's approved supplier list.
This is a specialized role that will work on a project in a fully dedicated manner for several months. Once the primary and secondary vendors are selected and the specifications are documented, then the procurement and buying activities will be transferred to HiArc Operations' Procurement team.
Responsibilities:
Gain alignment between the client and HiARC Operations, including Quality Assurance, with regards to sourcing criteria for vendor selection for materials and vendor supplied items to be procured by HiARC for the client's medical device
Document the project's sourcing criteria before vendor selection including the needs of the applicable medical device regulations governing that project
Identify candidate vendors, document the attributes of the candidate vendors against the sourcing criteria and recommend vendors to the client and HiARC Operations
Gain the alignment and drive the decision to select the vendors for the project
Gain alignment with the client, HiARC Operations and the vendor on Quality Control evaluations to be performed on the vendor supplied materials and items
Represent the vendor in project reviews of item specifications and drawings
Resolve questions between the project team and vendors related to information on item specifications and drawings
Ensure that QC evaluations are sufficiently documented on item specifications and/or item drawings

As an A-level inspector on our team in Newington, NH, you'll start your day partnering with Quality Control Inspectors, Project Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to align on priorities and standards. * Provide Process improvement in QME area.
* Coordinate with project engineering to determine/communicate customer and regulatory requirements
* Evaluate non-conforming products for acceptance
* Determine and organize inspection efforts for non-destructive testing and dimensional inspection
* Produce and revise technical procedures which support the QA program
* Compile lifetime records which represent the manufactured product for archival and end-user need
* Provide quality oversight at vendors and other Westinghouse sites
* Provide auditing and audit support
* Evaluate quality assurance program effectiveness
* Review supplier documentation for compliance with purchase order and standard requirements
* Assist manufacturing and inspection with job instruction interpretation
* Provide guidance to the quality inspection department
* Guide corrective action
* Participate in causal analysis
* Analyze customer feedback, making changes
* Determine quality metrics which support continuous improvement
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma
* Bachelor's Degree or pursuing a degree program applicable to the position preferred
* 2+ years of manufacturing QA experience
* Previous qualifications in non-destructive testing with potential to pursue Level III qualifications or dimensional inspection skills.

About the role:
As a Machinist you will support the development and determination of machining operations, select tooling, make setups, and develop processes.
This position is for 3rd shift only. We are looking for all levels of Machinists - we will interview you, and then your skills and the needs of the plant will determine your level to cover work areas. We encourage all skill levels to apply. Must be local to Newington, NH area.
You will report to the Machine Shop Supervisor and be located at Newington, NH. You will support this position 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate manufacturing department metal removing and metal forming machines.
* Select and use necessary measuring tools.
* Select and use hand tools.
* Work from drawings, sketches, written instructions, or verbal instructions (not to conflict with PP-09-01 )
* Perform technical and close tolerance work to engineering drawings and written instructions.
* Can operate any of the machine tool types that they are qualified for on the department training matrix with a minimal amount of training.
* Determine the need for and fabricate jigs and tooling.
* Practice proper housekeeping, observing all safety and criticality procedures.
* Responsible for quality of work during the machining process to ensure required tolerances have been met.
* Practice 5S principals and observe all safety policies.
* Load or coordinate the loading of their machining center.
* Run multiple machines at the same time, based on proximity, qualifications, and training.
* May, but are not required to, modify and troubleshoot machining programs, as the company bases them on machine qualification and training.
* Set-up machine tools and component or casting to ensure the proper machining of the part, component, or casting to print specifications. Depending upon the size of the part and the
* respective complexity, set-up time can vary.
* Will require minimal or no guidance.
Qualifications:
* High school graduate or recognized equivalent.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience and operational proficiency as a Westinghouse - Newington Machinist B or recognized equivalent.
* Knowledge of CNC "G" codes
* Knowledge of tooling, fixtures arid machine set-up to achieve quality machined components.
* Familiar with and practice 5S principals.
* Knowledge of programing.
