Assist cook in food preparation and service of lunch meal Move, unpack and stores supplies. Assist in taking food inventory, maintaining orders of food and household supplies, and organizing storage area. Cook and serve meals, in absence of cook. Clean dishes manually, load and operate dish washing machine, air dry dishes, and store them in a clean, sanitary and orderly manner. Ensure wash temperature is at least 140 degrees and rinse temperature is 180 degrees. Clean and maintain dish washing machine, dish racks, dish storage area, walls and floors. Dispose garbage in accordance with Department of Sanitation regulations. May deliver homebound meals, in some instances, to homebound clients. Perform other duties as required or assigned. Adhere to organization's standards by completing annual mandatory trainings in a timely manner on topics including - but not limited to - Sexual Harassment Prevention Training, IT Security Awareness, Compliance, OSHA, HIPAA and any other training the organization may deem necessary in regards to regulatory compliance or good business practices. Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationship with co-workers.
