Activate the branch Emergency Response Plan as needed in response to medical or other emergencies and inform branch leadership as needed.     Reporting to Admission Managers in the Member and Visitor Services department (MVS), the Member & Visitor Services Representative is a vital member of the MVS team responsible for greeting, assisting and welcoming all Museum visitors in an enthusiastic, warm and professional manner. Essential Functions: Handles General Admission, Exhibition and Public Program ticket sales, membership sales and renewals Answers phone inquiries and takes orders, troubleshoots and resolves visitors' needs and provides general museum information Works at any and all of our visitor facing locations both inside and outside of the Museum Greets members and visitors cheerfully in person and on the phone providing a warm welcome to all. Activities occur both onsite at YMCA branches, and offsite at local schools or other community locations. Merrimack Valley YMCA staff are expected to represent the YMCA professionally and in a manner in accordance with the mission and goals of the YMCA. Core Teen Program Advisors, under the supervision of the AED of Youth Development, provide safe, motivational and knowledgeable leadership to all youth, families, and program participants. All Merrimack Valley YMCA staff will help champion a culture of service excellence and support and advocate the mission and values of the YMCA. Essential Functions: Ensure the health, safety and well-being of participants by providing close supervision of all youth and teen activities Lead recruitment and outreach endeavors, and establish collaborative relationships across Merrimack Valley Middle and High Schools, YMCA branches, local organizations Manage a caseload of 50 youth and teen intakes: assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining Individual Success Plans Develop and facilitate age-appropriate curriculum content Lead weekly program meetings, independently manage and facilitate activities for groups of 25-30 youth Complete all required trainings and assessments to become certified van drivers Actively participate in all staff trainings and designated meetings Create an environment that is diverse, culturally sensitive and relevant to the needs of youth Ability to work cooperatively with professional staff and other departments. By personal example help interpret quality of YMCA Character Values or Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Accept and perform all other responsibilities necessary for the good of the organization as required by supervisor (remains flexible). Qualifications At least 21 years of age Successfully completed 2 years of post-secondary education/Associates Degree OR a high school diploma with three years of adequate experience working with youth Commitment and desire to support youth development Excellent written and verbal communication skills General knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work evenings and some weekends required
