**Responsibilities**

+ Gather information and course elements from SMEs; often guiding SMEs in the chunking of content

+ Design and develop learning material, coordinate, and review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula

+ Support eLearning material management by updating project trackers and collaborating with organization SMEs and training team.

+ Collaborate with other eLearning professionals (internal or external) to support eLearning content requirements

+ Develop supporting materials and media (audio, video, photos, graphics, etc.) for courses based on curriculum guidelines or information provided by or in consultation with subject matter experts or eLearning Manager

+ Conduct quality assurance on all eLearning materials

+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Education:**

+ BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience preferred

**Required Experience:**

+ 5+ years of experience in a training role/function

+ Fluent in English

Position Summary:

The eLearning Specialist serves as a digital learning expert, developing new approaches to learning, and creating digital content and interactive virtual learning experiences to expand training delivery methods of Berkshire's catalog of affirmative action and software training courses. Primary duties include maintaining and enhancing existing training content, designing new training content through collaboration with subject matter experts, and administering training registration and logistics for learners and facilitators.

+ Owns the behind-the-scenes execution of our training programs, serving as a technical producer for our multi-faceted training programs, and recommend training delivery strategies that yield a meaningful, engaging, and dynamic learner experience.

+ Creates blended learning solutions, i.e., eLearning, virtual classrooms, videos, quizzes, and learning communities.

+ Collaborates with subject matter experts and stakeholders using problem solving and analytical skills to identify and assess learning audience needs, and design, develop, and deliver educational content to meet those needs.

+ Utilizes LMS reporting capabilities and develops custom reports to assist with planning and managing Berkshire's training and development initiatives; prepares monitoring reports upon client request.

+ Coordinates and moderates training sessions using Teams, Blackboard Collaborate, or similar programs and uploads recordings into LMS library.

+ Lends expertise in the technical aspects of eLearning and virtual learning to internal staff, as requested.

+ Administers online training registration process including, but not limited to, scheduling online software training sessions and sending confirmation email with instructions to client and consultant, processing class and client cancellations and reschedules, and processing e-learning course registrations in Thinkific LMS.

+ Coordinates pre- and post-training preparation for in-person and virtual public and private sessions as scheduled including, but not limited to, monitoring and updating Training Calendar in Outlook, confirming training materials with Sr. HR Consultant, Training, Director, Affirmative Action & Training Services, or assigned course facilitator, printing training materials, setting up classroom or shipping materials to client site, ensuring training rooms and kitchen are clean and adequately stocked prior to each public session, and sending post training surveys and certificates, as applicable.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Monitors current trends in learning technology and advocates for use of new technologies that support training objectives of Berkshire and/or clients.

+ Assists the Sales and Marketing departments with training-related subject matter expertise for sales presentations and tradeshows, responds to related questions, and participates in sales calls as appropriate.

+ Works to improve department processes, client deliverables, and other related areas by providing actionable feedback, recommending feasible solutions, and assisting with implementation of changes.

+ Completes internal administrative processes in a timely manner including but not limited to time reporting and expense reports.

+ Provides back-up support to Client Services Coordinator for project data collection and related internal systems and file maintenance.
