The most common degree for electric linemen is associate degree with 29% graduates, with only 26% electric lineman graduates earning high school diploma. Electric linemen who decided to graduate from college often finish Bismarck State College or Lorain County Community College. Some good skills to have in this position include cdl, hand tools and transformers.
