Responsibilities & Expectations:
We are looking for a skilled Winder to join our team. As a Winder for IPS, you'd be responsible for rewinding various kinds of basic electromechanical equipment including removing the original winding, inspecting for winding failure damage, recording data from the original winding, making new coils, winding, and performing voltage testing on standard/basic windings. This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate. Responsibilities may include:
* Rewind various kinds of electromechanical equipment
* Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable electromechanical equipment, including media blasting
* Inspect various kinds of electromechanical equipment for winding damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions
* Document/record all relevant data specific to unit's electromagnetic characteristics, operating conditions, existing damage, or intended serviceability
* Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions.
* Ability to strip stator or apparatus without damage to core or iron
* Test rewound electromechanical equipment according to EASA Standards and document test results
Qualifications and Competencies:
* 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electricmotors
* Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
* Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division including understanding fractions
* Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
* Ability to understand, perform, and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
* Ability to operate and perform VPI
* Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making related to routine duties within set company standards

Responsibilities & Expectations:
We are looking for a talented Mechanic to join our team. As a Mechanic for IPS you will apply innovative, analytical, and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and customer focus to repair industrial AC/DC electricmotors, generators, gear boxes and related equipment while supporting our continuous improvement process culture. Responsibilities may include:
Diagnose incoming units, disassemble, repair, assemble, and prepare items for shipment
Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating apparatus repairs like electricmotors, pumps, and fans
Measure and record data using tables, dial indicators, micrometers, and vibration meters
Use multi-meters, meggers, Baker instruments, and measure winding resistance, RTD and heater resistances, and mechanical fits and clearances
Participate in daily operations discussions on customer products
Qualifications and Competencies:
1-5 years of AC/DC motor experience preferred
Able to perform basic math functions
Capability to diagnose and repair industrial electricmotors, fans, pumps, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment
Able to understand, perform and retain various job-related training, operational, and safety procedures
Excellent technical and mechanical skills
Self-starter and highly motivated person
