Job Summary:
The Sr. Field Technician will inspect, test, and maintain High, Medium, and Low electrical power equipment. Technicians will work with electrical equipment, such as SF6 & vacuum circuit breakers, pad mount transformers/GSU transformers, grounding, instrument transformers, and variance of switches both manual and motor operated. Technicians will implement safety policies.
Responsibilities
Lead safety briefings on job site, identify, eliminate, or mitigate hazards.
Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader.
Utilize Human Performance Error Elimination concepts and tools.
Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel in order to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and determine optimum equipment functioning.
Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members.
Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus.
Understand the theory behind and reason for testing with the ability to analyze results.
Develop and write reports.
Create plans for testing apparatus.
Project management of large scale and complex projects.
Ability to train and qualify Field Technician I, II and III.
Interact with customers.
Ability to perform complex troubleshooting

Primary Purpose of Position
Is accountable for implementing the station technical programs such as Dosimetry, Instrumentation, respiratory programs, self-assessment, procedure implementation, and other programmatic processes as assigned. Implements the long-term planning processes of Constellation to ensure programs are up to date from a regulatory and a technical perspective.

Attend meetings representing Radiation Protection (RP) with regards to programmatic issues with Nuclear Oversight (NOS) and regulators.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Accountable for the in-field application of policies and procedure relating to applied Radiation Protection (RP) programs. Directly manages the Radiation Protection first line Supervisors and Radiation Protection Technician activities in their daily support of plant Operations and maintenance activities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides mid-level aerial installation functions that could include hand digging with a shovel, setting up traffic control, entry level equipment operations, placing fiber, climbing poles, loading materials, etc. on various safety sensitive utility construction sites
Proficient with utility print and map reading
Has performed at least 2 years of independent aerial cable placement and installation; knows all safety regulations with basic operating skills
Climbs utility poles and/or utilizes lift to place cable in adherence to print designs and maps
Supports the setup and shut down of utility construction projects including traffic control in various conditions including highways, side streets, parking lots, downtown locations, etc.
Safety is the expectation, always follows the required safety practices while performing safety sensitive duties
Trains alongside experience construction crews learning fiber installation, print reading, equipment operations, OSHA requirements, etc.
Loads and unloads materials and equipment in from vehicles at construction yards and jobsites

Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and modification of plant specific nuclear licensed operations training programs.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions and risks

Primary Purpose of Position
Manage and monitor the work activities of the assigned Maintenance division (Instrumentation & Controls) to ensure a productive workforce that supports all divisional, departmental, Clean Energy Center (CEC) and corporate goals while in accordance with all company policies and local, state and federal regulations.

Ensure timely fulfillment of regulatory commitments assigned to division. Responsible for managing a continual assessment program that assures maintenance excellence in accordance with CEC, corporate and industry standards, practices and policies.
Participates in all aspects of Maintenance Department management to support safe and efficient operation of the CEC, including the development, implementation, and performance monitoring of all corporate, CEC, and divisional business goals and objectives.

Education and Experience:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred
5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience
NETA III Certified
Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc.
Physical Requirements:
Able to climb ladders, stand for extended periods, able to lift 70 lbs.
