4 days, 10 work schedule, Monday thru Thursday - 6am to 4:30pm
JOB SUMMARY:
Support the integration project leader in the complete Electrical, pneumatic, and high pressure assembly of the engineered systems, in support of our corporate mission, goals, and guiding principles.Will work both alone as well as with assigned Electrical integration technicians. Responsible for the complete and thorough assembly of all safety devices, cable tray, pneumatic plumbing, and high pressure plumbing. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining all details and Electrical purchase items called out on the Electrical bill of materials, assigning priorities, and tasks to assigned technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
:

1. Assign build tasks to assigned technicians
2. Checking in all purchase items via electrical engineering bill of material.
3. Verify all build components are accounted for and organized
4. Maintaining active list of any items missing from the Electrical bill of material(s) on a daily basis.
5. Completing transfers for batch build items using both Magic and the purchasing-112 form.
6. High pressure tubing layout and plumbing
7. All pneumatic and vacuum plumbing
8. Maintaining a neat and orderly area around all assigned systems
9. Complete and through debug of system electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and high pressure systems.
10. Complete comprehensive system checks at internal run off
11. Over all system cleanliness
12. Tear down and packaging of assigned systems
13. Ensuring all Electrical system changes are relayed to engineering using the red line process.
14. Training new electricians

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Special projects as assigned by the integration supervisor.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum of 5 years machine tool electrical experience
2. Possess own tools.
3. Self motivated
4. Ability read complex electrical and pneumatic schematics
5. The ability and willingness to train team members
6. Must have general computer skills
7. Must have strong communication skills
8. Must be able to use Microsoft office and other Microsoft office programs
9. Must possess Strong organizational skills
10. Ability to identify and work through Electrical build issues and turn in required documentation
11. An ability to work with other departments and communicate issues in a professional manner.
12. Flexibility to work off shifts including nights as required
13. Possess the ability to oversee multiple projects to their completion
14. Possess valid driver’s license
15. Possess or be willing and able to get passport for international travel
16. Must be willing to travel out of state and internationally via land or air

The EDM is responsible for the maintenance and reliability of the power distribution system equipment and electrical equipment in an industrial plant environment. This position will be aligned to the Electrical Distribution Maintenance workgroup within Infrastructure Services in Corteva Michigan.

Responsibilities - What You Will Do:

+ Perform electrical work on the site power distribution electrical equipment with voltages up to 138kV. This includes maintaining, repairing, and testing of medium and high voltage power distribution equipment including transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays and battery systems. As well as clearing, switching, and grounding activities on electrical equipment.

+ Assemble and wire relay panels for planned maintenance upgrades.

+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide effective repairs to all the components of electrical equipment and distribution systems.

+ Develop or update procedures.

+ Mentor / train others.

+ Prepare and maintain appropriate records on equipment and facilities.

+ Provide Subject Matter Expert support to projects and Root Cause Investigations.

+ Successfully complete on the job training and hands on proficiency skill test with all applicable equipment.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements - Who You Are:

+ You have your high school diploma/GED.

+ You have a valid US drivers license.

+ You identify, prioritize, and safely accomplish tasks and problem solve to overcome obstacles.

+ You are able to read/understand wiring diagrams and control circuits for specific electrical equipment including substation drawings.

+ You have experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc) and pick up quickly on new software systems.

+ You are organized, stay committed to timelines, exhibit good judgment and are flexible in adapting to priority changes/demands.

+ You are able to work independently as well as in a team setting and are able to display good influential leadership skills when needed.

+ You are always conscientious about safety, quality, and process compliance.

+ You have a high level of professionalism and are always punctual and responsible.

+ You possess strong verbal and written English communication skills.

+ You are willing and able to work a primarily daytime schedule of Monday through Thursday (10 hour shifts for a total of 40 hours of planned work time) with some overtime and on call rotation as needed to meet business needs.

Preferences - It Would Be Great If You Have:

+ Experience working on high voltage maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting.

+ Experience with higher voltage power distribution equipment such as transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, and battery systems (up to 15,000 Volts).

+ A state of Michigan Electrical License; must be willing and able to obtain a Michigan electrical Journeyman license if not already licensed.

+ Technical degree or associates degree.
