This is a 4-month project requiring a consistent schedule, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to meet per diem qualifications. Responsibilities: Prepare sketches showing location of wiring and equipment or follow diagrams/blueprints to ensure proper installation. Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using hand and power tools. Pull wiring through conduit, assisted by helper. Splice wires and connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels. Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads. Test continuity of circuits using instruments such as ohmmeter, oscilloscope, or battery/buzzer. Observe installed equipment for hazards or the need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems as needed. Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
