Applus+ Reliable Analysis is expanding the testing laboratory and service offerings by providing testing and engineering services to the manufacturers and key suppliers in the transportation, automotive, defense and industrial sectors. As a key team member within the operations team, the position will include a variety of standard and non-standard test projects within the laboratory department assigned for timely and accurate results with supervision support as required. Job description Performs preparation/set-ups/testing/evaluation/monitoring of samples/parts based on Applus-Reliable Analysis SOPs, designated standards, clients' instructions to meet client and/or regulatory needs. Set-ups to include pneumatic cylinders and hydraulic system loops, electro dynamic shakers, environmental chambers and controllers for the equipment listed. Simple test fixture build and teardowns Completes worksheets and/or logbooks to maintain traceability of what was done. Maintains proper records and verifies up-to-date calibration on equipment prior to use. Ensures all work complies with Applus-Reliable Analysis's Q.A manual and all written/verbal instructions. Provides information, opinion and advice to supervisor regarding status of tests. Maintains and repairs testing/prep equipment as required and reports any problems to supervisor immediately. Assists in the generation of technical reports and certificates as required. Maintains a clean, organized and safe work area. Performs other functions as required by immediate supervisor or delegate. Must be able to lift 50lbs repetitively/daily without concern.
