The Revit Specialist - Electrical will deliver creative, practical, and cost-effective electrical BIM modeling processes to support electrical engineering department while maintaining appropriate quality standards. The individual will be expected to develop a clear understanding of the consulting engineering process and the contractual documents which are involved and become an integral part of the design process.

Oversee electrical BIM processes and workflows for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with company standards and project requirements.
Support and coordinate with the electrical engineering department on BIM processes from design through construction and apply electrical BIM processes.
Preparation and layout of electrical BIM drawings ensuring coordination with all engineering departments at all phases of project production, including schematic design phase, design development phase, permitting phase, and construction documents phase.
Attend electrical project BIM related meetings with designers and engineers to help maintain business relationships with clients, partners, architects, owners, other design and construction professionals.
Facilitate coordination between multiple disciplines to detect electrical clashes and improve design efficiency.
Maintain electrical BIM content, templates, and families to improve efficiency and standardization and ensure accurate model updates based on design revisions and field changes.
Perform quality control checks on electrical models to ensure accuracy, quality and constructability. Coordinate with the BIM department for background updates.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and based in Tampa
At least 3 years of BIM experience in the electrical engineering industry
Basic experience with project deliverable methods including design-build, design-bid-construct, fast-track and other construction delivery methods.
Revit proficiency required, and familiarity with other architectural and engineering software programs.
Highly proficient technical/computer skills including Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Work, Excel), internet and web applications.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to clearly convey information, ideas, and concepts verbally, written, or in graphic form.
Must have up-to-date knowledge on BIM industry trends and emerging technologies.
