Requirements:

Diagnoses and troubleshoots faulty wiring

Experience and Education:
4+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial/high voltage electrical environment.
Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
4+ years of experience with 480V and wiring associated with transformers, pumps, MCCs, PLCs, etc.
Understanding and good experience with Three-phase wiring and circuitry
Completion of a certified electrical apprenticeship program.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, motor control, and industrial automation systems.
Proficiency with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 70E, and OSHA standards.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures and arc flash protection requirements.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications:
Successful Candidates Need:

Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to stand and walk and to climb ladders and attic stairs and to maneuver in attics, basements, and crawl spaces to access HVAC units. Ability to continually climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces, heights, and congested areas
Ability to safely climb 300lb load capacity rated ladders with a 30lb tool belt
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
Good time management and interpersonal skills.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
A strong desire to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities
Work on construction sites and follow all necessary safety protocols.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including low and high voltage circuits.
Assist in the construction of electrical enclosures and other electrical components.
Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical work, including the use of an ohmmeter and voltmeter.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical theory and safety practices.
Learn and apply knowledge of commercial electrical systems and codes.
Collaborate with experienced electricians to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
