Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role, preferably in the context of cannabis facility construction.
Must be able to read blueprints and understand electrical plans tailored to cannabis cultivation facilities.
Must be able to effectively manage 15+ employees in a specialized electrical construction environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations relevant to cannabis cultivation facilities.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a focus on fostering teamwork and collaboration in a specialized industry.
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively, particularly in the context of large-scale cannabis facility construction projects.
Demonstrated commitment to safety in the workplace, with an understanding of the unique hazards and regulations associated with cannabis cultivation facilities.
Experience with project management and scheduling software is a plus, with a preference for platforms tailored to the construction of cannabis facilities.
On-Call Availability:
The Electrical Foreman will be required to be on call for emergencies and urgent situations outside of regular working hours, specifically related to electrical systems in the cannabis facility. This entails being available to respond promptly to any electrical issues that may arise, including power outages, equipment failures, or environmental control system malfunctions, to minimize disruption to cultivation operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The on-call schedule will be coordinated and shared among the foreman team to ensure adequate coverage at all times, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards of service delivery within our unique infrastructure.
