Duties and Responsibilities
is fully remote in that you must be able to travel 100% of the time to the job site.
Must be fully qualified and capable of working directly with project management to understand and evaluate scheduled electrical work needed to complete projects in a timely manner.
Must be capable of performing all duties associated with the crew lead position and in addition.
Must be able to self-prepare for all scopes of electrical work needed by evaluating pictures from site assessment and communicating directly with the project management and design team about any necessary changes or improvements to the electrical plan set. These changes must be documented and sent to the project management team.
Must maintain tools and materials needed to “adapt and overcome” any challenges in the field including utility shutdowns.
Must be capable of communicating at a high level with city inspectors.
Must maintain a 90% or higher pass rate on all electrical equipment wall installations and maintain less than 10% of service calls generated by installation-related quality issues.
Must be capable of cross-training and crew development when assigned to supervise and support solar installation crews, allowing roof crew leads to self-perform installations while maintaining consistent quality by performing and documenting (pictures) quality control checks at specific points during the installation process.
Must be capable of supervising the crew while the electrical apprentice ( roof lead or other designated person by management) gets to experience electrical wall installation and service upgrades.
Must have required personal tools of the trade, see “minimum required personal tools of the trade”.
During the first 90 days you will be required to learn how to install Tesla Powerwall coupled with Enphase solar systems.
We will be looking to you to run your own crew with a helper installing power walls and solar systems. By the end of the 90 days, you will be required to take a proficiency test. This test will include you installing a complete battery and solar system without the help of the lead electrician at Good Faith Energy.
You must pass this test to be a lead electrician for Good Faith Energy.
We will provide you with all the on-the-job training as well as classroom materials to advance your knowledge of the systems you will be installing.

We have not determined when we will be bringing our next round of apprentices to the team, but it you would like to be considered for that please continue with this application process. What You will be responsible for:
Providing a memorable experience for each customer
Working alongside the Licensed Electrician daily to service customer needs quickly and efficiently
With the Licensed Electrician, diagnosing and repairing residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance to the State of Texas Building codes
With the Licensed Electrician, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
Inspecting electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
Performing physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics
Staying on track to becoming a Licensed Electrician
Learning the Milestone system and cooperating with all training opportunities to grow in your trade
Qualifications:
Current TDLR Apprentice license
1+ year(s) of verifiable experience with Apprentice license
Preferred 1 year of residential service work
Good driving record of at least 36 months and current valid TX driver's license
Ability to pass a drug test (hair follicle) and background check
Being genuine and personable is a must!

Physical and Mental Requirements

Assist with installing new electrical systems and repairing existing electrical systems while maintaining compliance with national, state, and local electrical codes along with all Rosendin policies and procedures. Support activities at commercial, industrial, institutional and residential project locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use industry related hand tools and power tools, under supervision.
Assist the Inside Wireman with measuring, cutting, bending, threading and installing wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems.
Assist the Inside Wireman with wires and cables within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, transducers, switch gear, receptacles, switches, etc.
Work with an Inside Wireman to splice and terminate wires at junction points.
Clean, gather and transport materials to electricians on the construction site.
Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members.
Maintain workflow schedule to ensure all Rosendin productivity objectives are met.
Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers and vendors.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ability to read and understand electrical single line blueprints.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN HVAC APPRENTICE
In this apprentice position, you are eager to learn and improve your skills. You work in the field alongside our experienced HVAC technicians, assisting them as they service and repair our clients' air conditioning and heating systems. Always attentive to detail, you observe as they complete each task, asking questions and following their instructions as you emulate their actions.
You learn how to properly use any necessary tools to service heating and cooling systems as well as how to perform indoor air quality services. Additionally, you watch as experienced HVAC technicians speak with our clients and learn to effectively and respectfully interact with them. You get great satisfaction from learning new things within this necessary trade!
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work from heights and in small crawl spaces
Basic computer and smartphone skills
Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding background checks and drug screening

Job Description
The Journeyman-Electrical/Electrical Technician should be a outside linemen, inside wiremen, installer technician, electrician, or Master Electrician who has been engaged at the trade for at least five (5) years.
The Journeyman-Electrical/Electrical Technician will be responsible for performing journey-level electrical duties in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lighting PMs
Battery PMs
Rack moves, deployments, and decommissioning
Security gate repair
Inverter testing on battery backups for lights
Team scheduling and material requisition
Receptacle panel installations and retrofits
MTS board validations, actuation, and installation
Electrical Panel Schedules
Spill Prevention kits for Generators, Substations, etc.
Heat trace annual testing and installation/retrofits
Electrical project support
Nonscheduled, high priority work: Usually DC floor related issues related to cooling
Qualifications
EDUCATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
At least five (1) years of experience in the trade
Formal training in approved vocational schools in the fundamentals of the trade
