This is a position for a four year Electrical Maintainer Apprenticeship, with the potential to continue employment as an Electrical Maintainer after the apprenticeship is completed. This entry level maintenance position will be assigned to one of our three Steel facilities in Stark County, Ohio (Gambrinus, Harrison or Faircrest Steel plants). Employees in this position are responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and educational tasks including, but not limited to, class room study, on the job training, and assisting journeymen in completion of electrical maintenance tasks. This position may teach courses in basic and advanced electrical theory, fiber optics, PLC's, telecommunication, residential wiring and electronics. Part Time Faculty normally teach one or two courses per semester. Teaching assignments may be available for day and evening courses. Compensation is based on the total contact hours taught per semester, starting at $676 per contact hour.
