    UA will assist electricians during the installation of new electrical systems or repair and maintain electrical systems. They must be in compliance with state and local wiring codes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs electrical wiring of external and internal signs consistent with specifications and electrical codes Inspects final production of electrical signs Performs and/or coordinates electrical jobs, service calls, and electrical emergencies Oversees and coordinates with inspectors for permitting and code compliance Delegates electrical workload and responsibilities to electrical department employees to ensure department meets expectations and deadlines Reviews plans, load calculations, online diagrams to ensure accuracy Orders parts and materials for electrical jobs MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs re-inspections on all electrical jobs, service calls, and installations Transports signs as needed Installs signs as needed May perform YESCO facilities electrical maintenance Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned NATURE OF WORK CONTACTS: Interacts regularly with government regulating agency employees both in-person and on the telephone working to ensure jobs are in compliance Interacts daily with employees in the field and in the YESCO facilities to delegate, discuss, and train on electrical job projects TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS: Journeyman Electrician's license with seven or more years of demonstrated experience in electricity, electronics, or related areas; or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills and abilities: Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical documents, specs, government coding document information, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to apply mathematical calculations regarding electrical requirements Ability to move electrical wiring, equipment and completed signs Ability to communicate effectively in person and electronically Ability to travel up to 25% of the time PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
