Essential Functions
• Performs emergency repairs on all Electrical switchgear, motors, emergency generators, relay systems, energy management systems, and related equipment.
• Prepares and maintains computer equipment records for all Electrical switchgear, motors, emergency
generators, relay systems, energy management systems, and related equipment.
• Energy Management related tasks and repairs are considered minimally 20% of the required essential job responsibilities.
• Submits work order completion, material requisition, and equipment data documentation on a timely basis using a computer based system.
• Must possess a valid Drivers License.
• Some intermittent out of town travel is required.

INFORMATION
A Route Service Apprentice is one of those positions that many current CITY personnel started their career in. It is the position that gets people in the door of the Service Department. As a Route Service Apprentice, you will begin by riding with every single Route Service Representative at your location. You will also have multiple mentors you can lean on to learn the basics of how things flow and work in Service Department.
