This is a hands-on position that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities: Assist in wiring and installing electrical systems in portable buildings. Help assemble electrical components and install them according to project specifications. Support the electrical team with various tasks as needed on-site. Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Follow instructions from lead electricians and ensure quality work standards. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained. Requirements: Prior experience in an electrical or construction-related field is preferred. The Mariana Minerals Electrician will provide competent and effective electrical support to our Refinery operations in East Texas. Our Electrician will be primarily responsible for maintaining, repairing, testing, adjusting, and assisting in the installation and removal of all electrical, communication, control, and measurement equipment at assigned locations. Our Electrician will perform a variety of operations, maintenance, and construction tasks to maintain safe operations of the refinery and its related facilities all while ensuring the facility is operated and maintained in compliance with company and applicable regulatory standards and practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Understand how to read and translate the information found within building and process blueprints and one-line diagrams to install outlets, circuits, load centers and other forms of electrical equipment After installing the electrical equipment, test all connections to ensure all components are working properly and safely. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in industrial equipment and processes using experience, system knowledge and proper instruments appropriate to the voltages and currents encountered.
