Primary Function:
GenPro Energy Solutions is seeking certified ApprenticeElectricians to work with and learn from a highly skilled team of electrical professionals in the installation and service of PV solar systems. Reporting relationship: Director of Construction
Pay Range: $18.65 - $30.99 Hour (based on Electrical hours)
Essential Job Functions:
Must enroll in and complete the Apprenticeship Program through the Company preferred electrical training program.
Must be a certified ApprenticeElectrician through the Federal Department of Labor
Assist electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician installing the work and handling bulk of materials
Load and unload equipment and material to be used on job sites
Under the direction and supervision of the electricians:
Operate tools and equipment safely
Install low and medium voltage cable
Install wide range of light fixtures
Install PV solar panels, racking, and associated equipment
May be required to operate some heavy equipment
Assist in terminating cable, installing and troubleshooting wiring from drawing
Assist in layout and preparation for installation of PV solar and LED lighting technologies
Adhere to all safety guidelines and policies
Maintain a clean job site

Must be able to stand and work on your feet for at least 8 hours per day and excessive overtime as required

Location/Travel: This position will require travel in/around Sioux Falls, SD - up to/within a 200-mile radius.
