Role Responsibilities:
Work with Electrics staff and overhire crew in prepping, hanging, focusing, and running productions across 5 venues .
All apprentices will act as an assistant head electrician during the season, and will typically have the opportunity to fill the role of head electrician, as well as various run crew positions such as light board operator, deck electrician, and spotlight operator.
Develop and utilize a working understanding of navigating and manipulating paperwork with Vectorworks and Lightwright .
Work with staff electricians or overhire crew to assist with video support for productions when applicable.
Work on hang, focus, notes, and work calls in all spaces as the schedule allows.
Fulfill maintenance duties on a daily, weekly, and yearly basis in the theatres and in the electrics shop.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or a combination of related educational and professional experience of four (4) years.
Experience working in lighting for theater, dance, or events, as well as a basic understanding of current lighting equipment, including control consoles.
Comfortable working at heights and in tight spaces. This position requires working in a public area, being on your feet for long periods of time, and will often include working nights and weekends depending on show assignments.
Computer literacy.
Able to work with others and lead others on projects as needed.
This is a full time, on-site, in person position.
Preferred Background:
Must be comfortable in an educational setting.
Experience with Vectorworks and Lightwright is a plus.

May operate hand tools and equipment under direct supervision of a Foreman or more senior electrician.

Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.
An apprentice electrician will not work on energized circuits or equipment.

Position Responsibilities
The electrical apprentice is partnered with a licensed journeyman electrician and has on-the-job training (OJT) to become an electrician.
You'll help perform electrical installations of a multifamily and commercial nature.
Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, from distribution to rough in, trim and deck work.
Participate in official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
Here's What We're Looking For
Motivated individuals who want to learn the electrical trade and have a high school diploma or GED as well as reliable transportation.
Successfully register, enroll and participate in an electrical apprenticeship program (and remain in good standing) until program is completed.
Able to physically perform the essential functions of the job.
Willing to learn electrical codes and other construction safety requirements.

The pay range for this role is: $20.00 - $30.00 dollars an hour.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman with a strong experience in managing crews, reading blueprints for commercial buildings, bending pipe, and connecting wires to various components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising electrical installations and repairs on commercial building projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
+ Plan layout and installations of electrical wiring in buildings.
+ Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring.
+ Work on commercial building projects.
+ Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
+ Repair or replace wiring as needed.
