As a Service Electrician, you are a key member of our team. Our customers look to your expertise to help solve their issues and build confidence that their home will be safe.
Here are the primary responsibilities for this position:
· You will help customers with various electrical needs, from installations to repairs. This could range from installing basic fixtures to replacing a home's electrical panel and wiring. Note: Complex troubleshooting is often involved so experience as a service electrician is a must!
· You are the face of Mr. Electric and will be interacting with the homeowner to deliver the customer service that Mr. Electric is known for.
· You ensure the safety of both yourself and the people you serve, leaving their homes safer than when you first walked in. You'll identify and present opportunities and solutions to the customer to ensure the safety of their family and property.

Qualifications
Education & Experience: We are looking for candidates interested in becoming licensed through our DOL approved ElectricalApprenticeship Program.

Location/Travel: This position will require travel in/around Manhattan, KS - up to/within a 200-mile radius. Applicants must be permanently located in/around the office location or be willing to permanently relocate. Applicants must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Per diem and mileage stipends applicable per company policy.
Work Schedule: Start times, break times and work hours vary per site and stage of our projects. Our employees work more than 40 hours per week but no more than 60, as part of our commitment to safety. Due to the type of construction, weekend work maybe required on occasion.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, this role is often exposed to high/precarious places, risk of electrical shock, and all outside weather conditions. **Responsibilities**
+ Create and sustain zero injury in workplace, minimize Pb blood level exposure levels
+ Coordinate and implement maintenance training programs related to electrical and control systems
+ Must be able to troubleshoot and repair electrical and controls systems, to include PLCs, VFDs, motor starters, PID loop tuning, digital and analog I/O, etc

**Qualifications**
**Education, Experience, Skills Required:**
Two-year degree from vocational school in industrial electronics and controls or 2 years of industrial electrical and controls experience including experience with Allen Bradley Programmed Logic Control related products and ladder diagram logic preferred. Must possess above average troubleshooting skills to sustain plant production.
