JOB SUMMARY: Directs the daily activities of the Electrical Department SUPERVISES: Electrical Leadsperson, Specialist, 1st-3rd Class Electricians, Handyman, Helper ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 1.Supervises the activities of the Electrical Department personnel directly or indirectly and maximizes efficiency and productivity of supervisors and production workers. Assigns Leadspersons to available jobs. Responsible for resolving issues with regard to day-to-day operations. 2. Confers with Production Manager, other Superintendents and subcontractors to coordinate work schedules and prioritize work. Estimates work ensuring proper workflow. 3. Ensures that machinery and equipment are properly maintained for efficient production and eliminates wasteful practices within the department. Responsible for identifying improved methods, and efficient and economical utilization of materials.
