We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer, Vehicle Power Electronics. The level will depends on the candidate's experience. The Role:Develop, validate, and enhance various power electronics converters for electric vehicle charging Be responsible for prototyping, testing and validation of electronics products.Contribute to vehicle level integrations from prototype to production Work closely with mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring the product into mass production
Qualifications:Good power electronics fundamentals and electrical engineering knowledge Debugging/Testing/validation experience with power electronics converters.Hands on experience for hardware development and troubleshooting Experience in PCB design, using schematic capture and layout tools Familiar with various equipment (Oscilloscope, probes, power analyzer, etc.) Familiar with MATLAB, LTSPICE and Power Electronics Simulation Tools
Preferred:MS degree with focus in power electronics.1 year industry experience with power electronics development and testing.Knowledge of power electronics converters, testing and debugging

Dynetics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Leidos, is seeking an experienced JR Threat Radar Engineer to join a diverse, highly-skilled team to create unique solutions for complex problems involving foreign weapons systems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective intelligence, engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
Job responsibilities/focus areas include:

+ All-source intelligence analysis of foreign threat systems with a focus on multi-function phased-array radars and surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems. Analysis efforts involve system performance assessments and design postulation of major subsystems including but not limited to phased array antennas, transmitters and receivers, radar signal processors and computer algorithms/logic.

+ Threat system model development to match intelligence assessments, including waveform scheduling, correlation/tracking and signal processing.

+ Write technical briefings, papers and reports to reflect intelligence analysis and assessments of foreign threat systems.

+ Ensure foreign threat systems are accurately characterized and modeled in technical databases such as the Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming Database (EWIRDB).

Basic Qualifications

+ Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics or related technical degree with a minimum of 3.2 GPA from an ABET accredited institution.

+ Candidate must have competent technical skills in the field of radar, possess interpersonal skills, demonstrate strong attention to detail and have the desire to work on a highly focused technical team.

Candidate must be a resident of Huntsville, Alabama or be willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.

Other Qualifications

+ Threat systems analysis and/or modeling experience is preferred but not required. Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of radar signal processing, radar algorithms/logic, antenna design/analysis and target tracking.

+ Proficiency in any of the following tools is preferred but not required:

+ MATLAB

+ Microsoft Visual Studio (C++/C# preferred)

+ JADE (Python)

Responsibilities

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

Leads spectrum and electronics engineering efforts and supervises engineering staff participating in such efforts. Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements. Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts. Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques. Performs or assists in performing and evaluating the results of EMC and EME Measurement activities.

Computers, printers, scanners, telephone and general office type equipment.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Working environment is a climate-controlled facility. Outdoor temperatures may exceed temperatures of 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Work may require light lifting, stooping, climbing, standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical/electronic engineering from an accredited university.

Experience:

GENERAL:

+ Ten (10) years' experience in the areas of Operational Spectrum Management processes, applications, and systems. Eight (8) years' experience in the application of EMI and EMC criteria for operational spectrum coordination.

+ Eight (8) years' demonstrated understanding of the operation and evaluation of communications, combat systems, electronic warfare systems, and navigation aids, test plans/reports, analytical evaluation of systems' RF compatibility, and development of actionable EMC techniques.

+ Eight (8) years' experience in conducting spectrum EMI/EMC testing and evaluations, performing engineering analyses to predict and define spectrum EMI problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of systems, or in EMI/EMC/RADHAZ/Spectrum Management.
