Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) seeks an **RF Microwave Design Engineer** in the Amherst Systems business unit within the Navigation, Targeting, and Survivability division. Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.     Linde Engineering North America LLC Senior Lead Electrical Engineer The Woodlands, TX, or Tonawanda, NY, United States | req25290 What you will enjoy doing* * In this role, you will develop electrical power distribution systems for large first of kind industrial applications while using recognized industry standards and specifications and new technologies * You will be responsible for calculations and studies for electrical power systems using ETAP and/or SKM- load flow, voltage drop, motor starting, short circuit studies, relay coordination, and arc flash studies * Develop concepts for protective relays based on project requirements * Additionally, you will be responsible for the project quality on related company drawings to ensure compliance with all company and project instructions/specifications * Responsible for the execution of the electrical vendor's quality to ensure compliance with the scope of the purchase order, system functionality, constructability and all company and project instructions/specifications * Also, you will be responsible for technical bid tabulation approval on the selection of major electrical equipment * Work in a multi-discipline environment to achieve an on-time project completion while maintaining consistent and accurate documentation * In addition, you will develop project schedules, manpower requirements, and capacity planning * Develop RACI for a global work share to accomplish project goals and deliverables What makes you great * You have a Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineeringand at least fifteen (15) years of experience * PE is required or the ability to get a PE * You have working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), International Society of Automation (ISA) and IEEE Standards and International Codes * Also, you have effective computer skills like Microsoft Office software, Lotus Notes, and other discipline specific software applications * ETAP and/or SKM is required in this role, as well as AutoCAD, familiarity with SmartPlant preferred * You have knowledge of electrical construction methodologies and processes, construction packages, and construction support * Also, you have knowledge on the startup, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems * You have experience as a project lead executing large industrial projects * In addition, you have experience as technical lead executing complex systems and / or first of kind technologies Why you will love working with us Linde Engineering Americas (LEA) is a member of the Linde Engineering Division of Linde plc.
