What You Will Do:
Makes decisions and recommendations that influence significant A/V engineering activities for new attractions and theme park lands
Establishes and maintains frequent communication with engineers, Audio Media Designers, Acousticians, and members from other organizations and companies, requiring abilities in persuasion and negotiation on important matters

Possess knowledge and familiarity with relevant industry standards

Senior Power Electronics Engineer
The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and development of the power electronics of our nuclear-driven high-speed generator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the design of high-voltage and high-speed generator drives, DC-DC converters for high-voltage batteries, and standalone and grid-tied inverters. Responsibilities The Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the development of high-power electrical circuits, such as active rectifiers, inverters, and DCDC converters Perform topology selection trade studies Design circuits, select components, create schematics, and support the layout of circuit boards Analyze and simulate circuits and key components Simulate circuits using Matlab, PLECS, and other tools Analyze structures and magnetic components such as bus bars and high-frequency transformers/inductors EMI/EMC filter design Interact with suppliers on the critical components design Test prototype power electronics circuits in the lab Characterize power semiconductor devices, including Silicon, SiC, and GaN Support software engineers who develop algorithms and application code for embedded controllers Engage with Mechanical, Systems, Test, Quality, Manufacturing, and Reliability Engineers Cooperate with other team members for critical technical test and decisions. Qualifications Minimum M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Ph.D. preferred), specializing in power electronics Minimum 1 year's experience developing high-power electronics Deep understanding of power semiconductor switches and diodes, and their characteristics Understanding of devices built upon various materials such as silicon, SiC, and GaN Strong experience designing and analyzing inverter and converter circuits, including gate drivers Knowledge and experience with embedded control of power electronic circuits Power converters and grid tie control PWM methods Power converter thermal analysis and protection Dual active bridge DC/DC modeling and control Experience with bidirectional power conversion Experience in EMI/EMC filter design for power electronics products Skilled in working in a lab environment with high voltage and current Experience using software tools such as Spice, PLECS, Mathcad, Ansys Simplorer, and Matlab Experience using FEA simulation tools such as Ansys Maxwell/Q3D or equivalent Ability to work in a fast-paced development environment Pay Disclosure Salary Range California-Based Applicants: $121,500 - $151,900 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
