Job Description You will meet your assistant at 6:45 am at the warehouse where you will load the generator into the company vehicle and drive to the customers residence. Therefore, a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record is required. Ideally jobs are completed within 8 hours, however based on the complexity of certain jobs and when drive time is factored in, some overtime may be required. You will use your electrical knowledge and technical skills to understand blueprints/schematics in order to safely and efficiently install the customer's generator. You will lead by example in a positive manor and mentor/train your assistant to help develop their skill set. Your performance will be assessed based on your ability to complete each job in a safe, timely, accurate manner which meets or exceeds customer expectations. You will use your customer service skills to greet the customer when you get onsite, and you will communicate with them through the project to ensure their satisfaction. We pride ourselves on our ability to deliver excellent customer service. Therefore, attendance and punctuality is also extremely important in this role. The work will be physical, requiring the ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb a ladder, and when applicable dig trench for gas line/wiring. The job may also require running wiring through attic areas. Work will often be performed outdoors, often in hot temperatures.
