What You'll Be Doing Job Scope: The Electrical Designer is generally responsible for performing all aspects for complete design of electrical and instrumentation assignments using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods. The National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) is an exciting and prestigious research facility that plays a vital role in the study of the universe. The Power & Electronics Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of Chargers and peripheral equipment, as well as large Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). ANS is a rapidly growing, emerging civil engineering firm focusing on civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical engineering for renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the US. “MUST-HAVE” PROFILE OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE INCLUDE: BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related degree Valid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of transportation Flexibility and willingness to travel, on occasion, and for multiple consecutive days periods of times (est. up to one week at a time, once per month) Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to find solutions to problems, and get-it-done attitude! Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting engineering, or related field Experience in preparing Engineering Reports with strong technical writing skills Experience with working within and leading team environments Working knowledge of geotechnical principles and engineering design “NICE-TO-HAVE” SKILLS FOR THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MAY INCLUDE: Technical licensure track including EIT, GIT, PE, PG, PMP, or similar.
