Follow and enforce drawing standards and modeling best practices. Utilize AutoCAD Electrical and Autodesk Vault software to ensure consistency and compliance with company and industry standards. Maintain proficiency in the latest software updates and features to enhance drafting capabilities. Work closely with electrical and fluid power engineers to understand project requirements and specifications. Participate in weekly production meetings and provide status updates on current projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components seamlessly. Effectively manage multiple design projects concurrently and maintain project status using drafting logs. Organize and maintain accurate records of drawings and design files using Autodesk Vault. Ensure life cycle control and manage document revisions as needed. Conduct thorough reviews of drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements. Address and resolve discrepancies or issues identified during reviews. Actively seek opportunities to improve drafting processes and workflows. Work Environment This role requires working in a small team where individuals must wear multiple hats, collaborating with two other electrical engineers.
