Key Responsibilities:

Compliance Review: Review draft designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and sign off on completed designs.

Site Reviews: Perform site reviews and studies to ensure designs align with location specifications, updating design requirements as necessary.
Knowledge Contribution: Develop white papers and technical design documentation for new or special case designs, and submit technical papers for publication in journals.
Proposal Collaboration: Work with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs, ensuring adherence to regulations and best practices.
Client Engagement: Meet with current and potential clients to review their design needs and provide technical guidance.
Industry Visibility: Attend conferences and symposia to enhance the visibility of the firm's products and services.
Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for external clients and industry contacts, collaborating with clients and government officials to clarify technical questions.
Project Updates: Provide updates to project management as necessary.

What You Will Do:
The Facilities Electrical Engineer will serve as the electrical technical lead for the Facilities & Services & Projects teams. The Facilities Electrical Engineer will complete electrical designs independently, and oversee & guide engineering firms throughout project life cycles.
* Develop and define project technical specifications in close coordination with project sponsors
* Support peer engineers, including different disciplines, by providing electrical subject matter expertise for multiple facilities projects

Conduct and document technical feasibility evaluations, qualifications field and competitive testing to verify the design-Formulates development, unit, and tooling cost estimates.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of electrical/electronic design issues during development after the production start. Collaborates with various internal teams to resolve issues and ensure the development of a quality product that support company and consumer needs.
Produce project documentation that includes prints, engineering files, supplier communications and Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
Assist operations and outside suppliers through new product development stages of new products with tooling, process methods, assembly plans and forecasting capacity requirements.
Manage a variety of moderately complex to complex projects from concept, design, and through completion. Develops timelines and ensure project success by maintaining timeline targets, budget responsibilities and quality requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (BSEE), electronics engineering (BSET) or equivalent.
Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 5 years experience in R&D electrical design engineering within consumer product design. This should include the following experience:
Fixed point arithmetic programming, Phased Array and Beamforming Algorithms,
acoustic or sonar instrumentation and applications, and translating functional requirements into system design specifications.
Experience of having developed a commercialized Phased Array Multibeam Sonar
Solid understanding and hands-on-experience on Digital Signal Processing concepts and algorithms.
Verilog or VHDL programming experience of Signal Processing algorithms in FPGAs.
Solid programming skills in C/C++ language.
Proficiency in Matlab programming.
Hands on experience designing, programming, and debugging Embedded systems interfacing with analog sensor instrumentation.

**What You Will Do:**
The **Facilities Electrical Engineer** will serve as the electrical technical lead for the Facilities & Services & Projects teams. The Facilities Electrical Engineer will complete electrical designs independently, and oversee & guide engineering firms throughout project life cycles.

Responsibilities
Electrical and Controls Design
Design and program electrical systems, including PLCs, HMIs, drives, and servo systems.
Develop and review power distribution systems and network configurations for plant process networks.
Implement digital and automation solutions, such as AGVs, robotics, and ERP platform integrations.
Establish and maintain standards for electrical and controls systems across facilities.
Project Management
Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
Collaborate with plant teams to identify and prioritize operational goals.

Partner with Corporate Plant Engineering and plant-based engineers to deliver turnkey project implementations.

Qualifications
Education:

Experience with Rockwell PLCs and HMIs is required.
Proven project management experience, including both small and large-scale initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in electrical power/control design and programming.
Knowledge of Rockwell PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Ethernet networking.
Familiarity with automation technologies, including robotics, AGVs, and ERP system integration.
