**Summary**
As an **Electrical Engineering Intern** , you'll join AV's Test Equipment Engineering Team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems for unmanned aircraft and advanced robotics. You'll assist in building and supporting test equipment, writing software, and troubleshooting systems - gaining valuable, real-world experience across the product development lifecycle.

**Position Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the **design, development, and troubleshooting** of test equipment for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), subsystems, and full systems
+ Help develop and deploy test software to support hardware integration and validation
+ Support the **maintenance and upgrade** of test systems used during production
+ Participate in **test plan creation** , requirements documentation, and validation strategies
+ Assist in executing tests on power systems, avionics, and propulsion components (functional, performance, and environmental)

What does this role look like?
The L&TSE team develops, test and verifies various ground support equipment for the THAAD Program, ensuring various THAAD subsystems perform its capabilities for launch tests. Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field
Experience:
3+ years of experience in electronic warfare, RF systems, or related fields
Experience with EW system design, signal processing, or electromagnetic spectrum analysis
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in modeling tools for RF engineering and signal processing (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW or similar)
Familiar with laboratory tools including oscilloscope, signal and spectrum analyzer, SDR and RF Analyzer SW
Knowledge of radar systems, communication systems, directed energy and electronic warfare modules
Familiarity with high level software programming languages for algorithm development
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Position Responsibilities:
High speed digital circuit and signal integrity analysis.
Focus on electrical design, simulation, verification testing, and validation testing of high-speed printed circuit board (PCB) design and electronic systems.
Circuit board design for engineering and operational systems through product development cycles.
Integrate designs with hardware and software components and systems.
Review testing and analysis activities to assure compliance to requirements.
