ASIC RTL Design Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Working with architects and design leads to understand features to be designed and implemented
• Reviewing and writing micro-architecture specifications for logical blocks within the graphics architecture
• Being a pro-active design team member to implement RTL logic using Verilog and System Verilog
• Reviewing test plans to ensure the verification strategy covers all aspects of the design
• Resolving design related synthesis issues with area, timing, and power
• Analyzing pre-silicon and post-silicon test failures to determine root cause
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have professional experience in RTL level ASIC design
• Must be proficient in Verilog, System Verilog, and working in Linux and Windows environments
• Must have ASIC design knowledge and be able to debug Verilog RTL code using simulation tools
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and good coding skills
• Must have excellent English oral and written communication skills
• Must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Graphics pipeline experience is preferred
EDUCATION:

**Your Impact**
+ Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
+ Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
+ Work under guidance of experienced engineers on all aspects of substation design during internship
+ Participate in development of substation design components including: One-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA and communications, physical layouts, sections/elevations, cable and conduit plans and details, ground grid, foundation, and structural plans, control enclosure, lightning protection, yard lighting plans, bills of materials

**Required Qualifications**
+ Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later.

+ Demonstrated interest in consulting engineering, electric utility industry, or related field, and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP's work and projects.
+ Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
