The selected candidate will play a key role in the supervision, installation, commissioning, and service support of electrical systems for cold rolling equipment in the steel industry. You will contribute directly to the performance and success of our projects in cold rolling mills, which are critical for producing high-quality flat steel products with precise thickness and surface characteristics. Key Responsibilities Act as the primary onsite electrical contact for cold rolling mill installations. Supervise installation and commissioning of automation and control systems (PLC/HMI), power distribution, and motor drives for cold rolling lines (e.g., tandem mills, skin-pass mills, temper mills). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control logic, motor performance, and instrumentation on site. Coordinate with mechanical, automation, and process teams to ensure smooth system integration specific to cold rolling requirements. Interface with customers and subcontractors during site execution phases. Work with AC/DC drives, motors, MCCs, operator stations, and HMIs in high-automation environments. Required profile: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical commissioning or field service, ideally in the steel/metals industry. Proven experience with PLC programming (Siemens S7, Rockwell ControlLogix, GE), and HMI development (Wonderware, WinCC, RSView). Familiarity with electrical systems used in cold rolling processes, including drive systems, thickness control, and interstand tension control. Understanding of motor control systems, hydraulic/pneumatic integration, and industrial sensors/actuators.
